Cardiocrinum giganteum (seeds)

I fell in love with this crinum a few years ago. Bulbs too expensive so I gave seeds a short. Total failure. Not even one seed sprouted.
Now I got fresh seeds from another fellow gardener. I was shocked by how many seeds I received :)
I already have Cardiocrinum seeds sown in a small plastic container with a lid and stored in the fridge, another 5Liter container on tha balcony and another one wintersown outside in the garden.
At least one seed must germinate!

This is actually a small container. And got a lid.

Just in one of these!

Gardenia jasminoides Kleim's Hardy

I got this Gardenia In October? November last year. So I've had it for a couple months now. Not doing so great. Tops have all turned brown.
It's in a plastic pot, on my balcony.
I can see the roots coming out from the bottom of the pot.
Any idea what is wrong with it?
Would it survive cold winters of -15C out in the garden? (In case I save it...)

First blooms in the woods around Oradea

Last weekend I took a stroll in the woods around. Wasn't the first this year, guess it was the third. But definitely the first I really enjoyed. Fresh green everywhere... and lots of other colors (the flowers).
I am planning to visit these and other woods on a regular basis - don't wanna miss anything spectacular!

The background. Not many pics of this, as I tend to focus on the little flowers down there!

POSTCARD (mosaic)

Wow,
Been a while since my last post. Guess I kinda forgot about it completely. (kinda, completely... make up your mind, Calin!).
Anyway. First... one of my latest mosaic works of art. I can call them that, right?
Here it is. Title: Postcard.
Did I mention it's for sale? It is a hobby, and I love my work... but I gotta eat!
(eat = buy more mosaic stuff)

RED TAPE - mosaic

RED TAPE
in 2 wall pieces.
on MDF board, 1.8cm thick... black grout (actually "granite").
can't really tell how long it took... as it lay on my table for a while (I was missing two colors, the gray for the background).
Now it's finished!

JATROPHA PODAGRICA

Now what is this?

It's one of the plants I fell in love in Taiwan. Saw it in pots in front of houses (I'd say on sidewalks, but in most parts these were missing - space is scarce!) and also directly planted in parks.

I loved its cute thick stem/root, delicate flowers. And well, I too some seeds back home with me.

Here is what I have:

Flowers aren't really that showy. They are not big, not boasting a nice design, not fragrant, but still they look nice and delicate.

And I have had a few pods with several seeds inside

And today I got the first 3 seeds I am gonna plant them real soon!

Wish me luck!
